Mankatha songs ready!

Actor Ajith's Mankatha which has been awaited with lot of expectations seems to be hitting the right note every passing day. Music director Yuvan Shankar Raja is said to have given nine completed tracks to director Venkat Prabhu. The director is extremely happy with Yuvan's work and is excited about it more than ever. Among the nine songs, six of them have been composed and three of them have already been recorded.

The director said that there will be an exclusive promo song, a Mankatha theme music and also one club mix. An elated Venkat Prabhu has gone on to tweet that Yuvan rocks and we cannot help but agree, given his latest hit numbers. This news has surely upped the expectation quotient of Mankatha starring Ajith, Trisha, Anjali, Lakshmi Rai, Premgi Amaran and Vaibav. We cant wait for the songs to be out!

Ileana says that Vijay is a sweet person

Ileana made her debut in the Tamil film Kedi. But her first film itself did not give her helping hand. Because of this she was sidelined in Kodambakkam. Because of this Ileana migrated to Telugu film industry. But there she got the respect which she did not get in Kodambakkam.

She became Number One actress there. Now after a long time she is laying her footsteps in Kollywood.

The super hit Hindi film Three Idiots is being remade in Tamil with the title Nanban. Director Shankar is directing this film. Vijay, Jeeva and Srikanth are starring in this in this film. The shooting of the film commenced few weeks back in Ooty. Ileana is pairing with Vijay. This is the first time Ileana is acting with Vijay. Recently sequences featuring Vijay and Ileana were shot.

Ileana while speaking about this said," After a long gap I have come to act in a Tamil film. That also I am acting with Vijay. This is the first film I am acting with him. I was scared when I acted with him. But after moving with him I understood that he was a wonderful person. He is a good person. He is so sweet while moving with others. I am very happy that I am pairing with him."

S.J Suryah plans high

S.J Suryah, director turned actor wishes to revive the glory days of his career. He was riding the wave of success when he made blockbusters like Vaali and Kushi. The director then decided to pursue his dream of becoming an actor and starred in films like New, Anbae Aruyire, Kalvanin Kadhali, and Newtonin Mundram Vidhi which received lukewarm response.

Recently he returned to his roots as a director with Puli, a Telugu film starring Pawan Kalyan. The movie did not get favorable response and S.J Suryah has decided to return to the Tamil film industry which gave him his first break. Things are looking up for him as he will be doing a cameo in Shankar’s multi – starrer, Nanban.

Currently, he is in Kodaikanal where he is working on a script far from the distractions of the city. The showman is confident that his new project will be well received by the masses as the story is shaping up very well and has all the ingredients needed for success. He is very excited about it and is anxious to finalize the cast and crew. We wish him the very best!

Arya’s next

Arya’s acting talent and the success of his films at the box office has earned him the status of a bankable star. Director Boopathy Pandian who had proved his mettle in films like Devathaiyai Kandein, Thiruvilayadal Aarambam, and Malakottai will soon be teaming up with Arya.

Pandian is happy that the handsome actor has given the go ahead for his next project which he says is going to be a masala film with equal measures of comedy and action.  He also reiterates that it will be a fast paced, complete entertainer. It is interesting to note here that Arya had done a cameo in Pandian’s last film, Kaadhal Solla Vandhen.
