My Dear Kuttichathan is a Malayalam film and the first 3-D film made in India in 1984. The movie was produced by Appachan of Navodaya studio in Kerala. The film was dubbed in Hindi as Chhota Chetan n 1994, the film became a big box office hit, later it was dubbed in other languages and hardly after 23 years a straight 3D Tamil film is titled Ambulli, V. loganathan production and Written and directed by Hari Shankar and Harish Narayanan, the duo which made 'Orr Iravu'.
And this latest 3D film is not especially for the Kids but targeting overall audience, the actor-director R.Parthiban is set to playing lead role in this which is being claimed as the 'first stereoscopic Tamil 3D thriller' with newcomers R. Ajay, Shreejith, Sanam and Divya Nagesh.
